Job summary

BluePearl Pet Hospital in Tukwila, WA is seeking a Licensed Veterinary Technician Supervisor who can motivate, engage, and train a team of veterinary professionals in a fast-paced emergency and specialty care environment.

The supervisor will mentor staff, coach on client and patient needs, organize tech and assistant meetings, and schedule training to enhance clinical skills and teamwork, with opportunities for advancement through Kahuna leveling.

Qualifications

• Active veterinary technician license or eligibility in the state of Washington.
• Strong leadership and teaching abilities within a clinical team.
• Excellent communication and time-management skills.

Responsibilities

• Mentor lower-level staff by modeling positive work habits and clinical excellence.
• Coach teammates to anticipate and address patient and client needs, and escalate when needed.
• Organize tech and assistant meetings with hospital leadership.
• Arrange training schedules for Technician staff.
• Identify conflicts and work with leadership to resolve them.
• Provide feedback and support for performance improvement plans.
