Qualifications

• College or college-equivalent education as required to become Credentialed Veterinary Technician.
• At least 1 year of experience as a Veterinary Technician or in a veterinary practice.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Must be compassionate, professional, and able to maintain composure in emotional situations.
• Team player willing to learn and adapt to hospital workflows.

Responsibilities

• Greet clients and patients, collect vitals, and document visits in the EMR.
• Assist veterinarians with routine and emergency appointments, surgeries, dentistry, and euthanasia.
• Perform patient restraint, collect lab samples, and manage medications as directed by the veterinarian.
• Prepare patients for procedures, monitor anesthesia, and discharge to client or overnight care as needed.
• Maintain clean hospital environment and assist with inventory and client communication.
