Job summary

Norton Lilly International is seeking a Marine Boarding Agent to support vessel operations in New Orleans, LA. The role involves boarding vessels, coordinating port services, and ensuring regulatory compliance during port calls and stays.

The position requires strong communication, attention to detail, and the ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays. Travel to vessels in port is expected.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• ASBA Agency Certification required or must be obtained within six months of hire.
• Prior experience in marine agency services, port operations, or maritime operations preferred but not required.
• TWIC credential within ninety days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Board vessels upon arrival and during port stay to provide full agency support.
• Represent the company during port calls with professional conduct.
• Deliver and collect ship documents, crew items, and supplies.
• Coordinate port services, pilots, tugs, bunkers, provisions, transportation, and repairs.
• Maintain communication with ship masters and internal teams to resolve issues.
