Job summary

GAC Group is seeking an Operations Executive in Houston to manage end-to-end vessel operations, coordinating with port agents and GAC offices worldwide. You will ensure documentation is accurate and voyages are properly registered, contributing to reliable service for clients.

The role requires 1–2 years in Shipping Operations and a maritime degree, with strong MS Office skills and the ability to liaise across multiple time zones and teams. Full-time in-office position in Houston.

Qualifications

• Degree in Maritime Transport and Logistics or similar degree.
• 1-2 years in Shipping Operations.
• Proficient with MS Office and GACShip.
• Excellent communication and coordination with port agents and internal teams.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day vessel operations and provide guidance to port agents.
• Ensure voyage orders are received and registered; issue appointments/nominations.
• Review and approve disbursement accounts for accuracy and compliance.
• Act as primary liaison between agents, vendors, service providers and customers.
