Job summary

Norton Lilly International is seeking a Boarding Agent to coordinate agency, husbandry, and administrative functions for vessel calls at the Port Office in St. Croix, VI.

You will ensure smooth arrivals and departures, complete documentation, and communicate with vessels, authorities, and clients. The role requires strong customer service, MS Office skills, and the ability to work a flexible schedule, including days, nights, weekends, and holidays.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalency.
• Some college courses in business management helpful.
• Verifiable excellent customer services abilities.
• Able to enter, generate and retrieve information using a computer.
• Experience with Microsoft Office Suite.

Responsibilities

• Board vessels in Port on a daily basis.
• Assist planning and scheduling vessel rotations.
• Assist with billing procedures and pro forma requests.
• Respond to principal/customer inquiries per policy.
• Prepare and secure vessel-related government documents.
• Communicate with principals, customers, authorities, and vendors.
• Procure outside services as directed and manage vendor relations.
