Job summary

Norton Lilly International Inc. in Beaumont, TX seeks a Boarding Agent to coordinate agency, husbandry and administrative tasks for vessel calls. You will ensure smooth arrivals and departures and timely documentation for each port call.

The role involves outdoor work, lifting up to 75 pounds, and a flexible schedule including days, nights, weekends, and travel to vessels while in port. Prior marine agency experience is helpful but not required.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Some college coursework in business management is helpful.
• Verifiable excellent customer service abilities.
• Ability to enter, generate and retrieve information on a computer.
• Experience with Microsoft Office Suite.

Responsibilities

• Board vessels in Port on a daily basis.
• Assist with planning weekly vessel rotation and billing procedures.
• Prepare required governmental and agency documents for approvals.
• Communicate with principals/customers and vessel master.
• Procure outside services and manage vendor relationships.
• Ensure documentation is accurate and timely and maintain vessel files.
