Job summary

United Rentals, Inc. is seeking a Vertical Sales Specialist for Reliable Onsite Services (ROS) to drive revenue in a defined district or multiple districts.

You will coordinate with field sales, design solutions, and represent ROS in pre-bid and pre-construction meetings to hand off to operations. The role requires a Bachelor's degree and 7+ years in sales/operations, proficiency with Salesforce and MS Office, and strong leadership, communication, and collaboration skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of experience and education.
• 7+ years in sales and/or sales and operations management.
• Proficiency with Salesforce and MS Office (Word, Excel).
• Strong sales and customer service skills.
• Understanding of accounting principles and P&L profitability.

Responsibilities

• Work with Field Sales to identify projects for specific product or vertical.
• Enter, track and close opportunities in Salesforce.
• Attend pre-bid meetings representing ROS with contractors bidding work.
• Communicate project details at pre-construction meetings and hand off to Operations.
• Design solutions with support from Branch Operations and Field Sales.
• Submit system solutions to bidding contractors.
• Close win opportunities in Construction/Infrastructure markets.
• Mentor OSRs on ROS offerings in verticals.
