Job summary

LexisNexis Risk Solutions is seeking an Associate Vertical Account Manager to acquire and grow revenue within established accounts using a total solution strategy. You will work with product underwriting and actuarial teams to help insurers understand the market and evaluate risk.

The role is home-based (Eastern/Central time zones preferred) with up to 10% travel, targeting growth opportunities and long-term client relationships through proactive account management.

Qualifications

• Prior experience working in commercial insurance is ideal.
• Prior sales or account management experience.
• Demonstrated experience successfully building client relationships.
• Excellent project management and analytical skills.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate existing relationships and identify growth opportunities within selected solution sets.
• Manage customer roadmap retention plans and actions to protect base revenue.
• Establish and maintain excellent customer relationships at all levels, acting as a liaison between sales support and customers to provide superior service and solutions.
• Meet or exceed quarterly and annual revenue objectives and oversee all forecasting activities.
• Demonstrate understanding of select Commercial Insurance products and solutions and present them to customers, articulating value.
• Follow up on inbound leads, conduct outbound outreach, and develop new sales opportunities to support account growth.
• Provide excellent customer service by handling objections, setting realistic expectations, negotiating pricing and contracts, and closing sales.
