Job summary

Qualifications

• Minimum qualifications include hold a Virginia teaching license or be eligible for licensure.
• Experience as a lead teacher/instructor in public settings is preferred.
• Proficiency in following and delivering instructed curricula and communicating with students, staff, and parents.

Responsibilities

• Adhere to and administer LCPS curricula or provided lesson plans.
• Supervise students and manage behavior to ensure safety and learning.
• Provide feedback on lessons and student questions after assignments.
• Be flexible to teach various subjects and grade levels as needed.
• Report daily to a single site and participate in short-term assignments as required.
• Assist with lesson planning and communicate with parents and staff for long-term substitutes.
