Job summary

The Beasley Group in Hazlehurst, GA is seeking an Entry Level Utility Fill-In Rover to support daily sawmill operations. You will rotate through the line, sort and stack lumber, assist operators, and help maintain safety, quality, and productivity in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Able to lift 50+ lbs and stand long periods.
• Willing to work nights and weekends if needed.
• Able to learn multiple positions quickly.
• Strong attention to safety and reliability.
• Good attendance and work ethic.

Responsibilities

• Rotate through the line and related areas to support production needs.
• Sort, stack, and organize lumber based on size, grade, and quality.
• Remove defective or unusable materials from the sorting line.
• Assist machine operators with setup, operation, and minor troubleshooting.
• Perform general labor duties including cleanup, debris removal, and material handling.
• Fill in for absent employees to ensure continuous workflow and minimal downtime.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
• Follow all company safety policies and standard operating procedures.
• Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members.
