Job summary

The Beasley Group is hiring for an entry-level Utility Fill-In Rover at our Hazlehurst, GA location. This role supports daily sawmill operations by rotating through positions, assisting in sorting, handling, and processing lumber, and maintaining safety and quality standards.

Ideal candidates are physically able to lift 50+ lbs, willing to work day shifts with potential nights/weekends, and eager to learn multiple positions while contributing to a fast-paced industrial environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Physically demanding environment, lifting 50+ lbs.
• Willingness to work rotating shifts, including nights/weekends.
• Learn multiple positions and adapt quickly.
• Strong attention to safety and detail.
• Reliable attendance and strong work ethic.
• Ability to work independently and in a team.

Responsibilities

• Rotate through the line and related areas to support production needs.
• Sort, stack, and organize lumber by size, grade, and quality.
• Remove defective materials from the sorting line.
• Assist machine operators with setup, operation, and basic troubleshooting.
• Perform general labor duties including cleanup and material handling.
• Fill in for absent employees to maintain workflow.
• Maintain a clean, safe work environment and follow SOPs.
• Communicate with supervisors and team members.
