Job summary

BEASLEY FOREST PRODUCTS INC in Hazlehurst, GA is seeking an Entry Level Utility Fill-In Rover to support daily sawmill operations. You will rotate through production lines, sort and handle lumber, and assist operators, while upholding safety and quality standards in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities include material handling, setup assistance, and filling in for absent staff to maintain workflow. The role requires physical endurance and reliability in a demanding industrial setting.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Ability to work in a physically demanding environment (lifting 50+ lbs., standing long periods).
• Willingness to work nights and weekends if required.
• Ability to learn multiple positions and adapt quickly.
• Strong attention to detail and safety awareness.
• Reliable attendance and strong work ethic.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Rotate through the line and related areas to support production needs
• Sort, stack, and organize lumber based on size, grade, and quality
• Remove defective or unusable materials from the sorting line
• Assist machine operators with setup, operation, and minor troubleshooting
• Perform general labor duties including cleanup, debris removal, and material handling
• Fill in for absent employees to ensure continuous workflow and minimal downtime
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
• Follow all company safety policies and standard operating procedures
• Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members
