THOMPSON HARDWOODS INC seeks an entry-level Utility Fill-In Rover in Hazlehurst, GA. The role spans cleaning, assisting machine operators, and building mats, with versatility across the mill as needed.

The position is hourly with overtime possibilities, and requires 12‑hour shifts, five days a week, in a hot/cold production setting. Safety and teamwork are essential to daily operations.

Qualifications

• GED or High‑School diploma preferred.
• Ability to read and write in English.
• Communicate in English.
• Familiar with Basic OSHA safety standards for LOTO and other production environment regulations.
• Willing to work 12‑hour shifts 5 days a week.
• Willing to learn and work well with others.

Responsibilities

• Move around the mill to fill in various roles as needed.
• Assist machine operators by providing support and ensuring smooth operations.
• Clean up work areas to maintain a safe and tidy environment.
• Build and assemble mats as required.
• Adapt to different tasks and responsibilities as assigned.
• Work collaboratively with team members to ensure efficient mill operations.
• Follow all safety guidelines and procedures to ensure a safe working environment.
