Job summary

Carle Health in Lexington, KY is seeking an RN with inpatient experience to join a team providing direct patient care across units. You will perform assessments, develop care plans, document care, and collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to ensure safe, high-quality outcomes.

Requirements include an active Illinois RN license, ACLS within 1 year, BLS within 30 days, and an Associate’s degree or equivalent (HS diploma/GED accepted).

Responsibilities

• Performs all responsibilities and duties required by unit as specific to the scope of service.
• Implements procedures and theories related to the specific area of practice.
• Maintains up-to-date documentation of nursing care for the healthcare team.
• Completes initial assessment upon patient admission and develops plan of care.
• Implements plan of care, nursing interventions, and patient care procedures.
• Modifies plan of care to ensure patient and employee safety.
• Communicates with others to resolve issues.
• Precepts staff and collaborates with multidisciplinary team.
• Coordinates care with team members to provide high-quality patient care.
