Veritas Investments, Inc. is seeking a Maintenance Technician in Los Angeles to assess repair scopes, perform repairs, and manage project timelines. You will work with skilled trades, resident managers, and residents to ensure quality control and timely work orders.

You will communicate daily with the Maintenance Supervisor and Lead Technician, plan materials weekly, and perform hands‑on repairs across electrical, carpentry, plumbing, and other systems in portfolio properties.

Competenze

• High school diploma or equivalent; Lead, asbestos, mold certifications required.
• 1–3 years of maintenance experience preferred.
• Must own a smartphone and be proficient with email.

• Communicate with team members and supervisors throughout the day.
• Assess scope for repairs and plan changes with cost‑effective solutions.
• Report expenditures, change orders, invoices, and purchases for approval.
• Collaborate with trades to meet deadlines and budgets.
• Plan weekly materials, equipment, and supply needs.
• Perform QA/QC inspections to ensure safety and quality.
• Execute hands‑on repairs and maintain portfolio cleanliness.
• Submit timesheets and mileage weekly; log relevant invoices.
• Keep residents and trades informed with current records.
• Diagnose routine maintenance involving electrical, carpentry, plumbing, and more.
• Follow policies and state/federal regulations (Lead Paint, ADA, EPA, OSHA).
