Veritas Investments is seeking a Maintenance Technician to assess repair scopes, perform repairs and manage change orders while coordinating with residents, managers, and skilled trades. The role emphasizes meeting project timelines and adhering to company standards and safety regulations.

The technician will check in daily with the Maintenance Supervisor and Lead Technician, ensuring accurate records and timely completion of work orders across multiple properties in the Los Angeles area.

Formación

• Must have high school diploma or equivalent.
• Lead, asbestos, mold certifications and other required classes must be completed.
• 1–3 years of experience as a Maintenance Technician preferred.
• Must own a smartphone and know how to use email.
• Maintains vehicle and tools.

Responsabilidades

• Communicate with team members, resident managers, and maintenance supervisor throughout the day.
• Determine scope applying cost-effective solutions using data and experience.
• Report on expenditures, change orders, invoices, billing and purchases for approval.
• Collaborate with skilled trades to meet deadlines and stay on schedule.
• Plan weekly materials, equipment and supply needs.
• Perform QA/QC inspections to ensure safety and quality standards.
• Carry out hands-on repairs and keep portfolio clean and organized.
• Submit weekly timesheets, mileage and invoices for work orders.
