Job summary

HavenCORE Property Management is seeking a Maintenance Technician in Los Angeles, CA to assist the Community Manager and Resident Services Supervisor with property upkeep. Responsibilities include electrical and plumbing minor repairs, fixture replacements, painting, carpentry, custodial tasks, grounds work, and assisting in inspections.

Applicants should have at least 1 year of maintenance experience, a high school diploma or equivalent (or 3+ years of relevant experience with certifications),

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of property maintenance experience required.
• High school education or equivalent, or 3+ years relevant experience and certifications.
• Must have valid California driver’s license and reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Assist in maintenance projects and training classes as directed.
• Perform minor electrical repairs on appliances, fixtures, switches, and outlets.
• Perform minor plumbing tasks such as clearing drain stoppages and replacing fittings.
• Repair and replace fixtures, appliances, blinds, locks, and hardware.
• Paint interior/exterior as directed and assist in carpentry tasks.
• Support custodial work and grounds maintenance as needed.
• Assist in inspections, inventory control, and vendor coordination.
• Maintain safe work environment and respond to emergencies within 30 minutes.
