Job summary

LeFrak is seeking a maintenance worker to assist the superintendent in preserving the property's physical integrity and ensuring a safe, comfortable living environment for residents, visitors and staff. The role requires hands-on skills across plumbing, electrical, carpentry, painting and HVAC tasks.

You will document work, respond to emergencies, coordinate with vendors, and prioritize tasks to minimize vacancy loss, while presenting a professional image and adhering to safety practices.

Qualifications

• Must possess a variety of trades including carpentry, electrical, plumbing, HVAC and painting.
• Ability to troubleshoot and perform basic repairs on electrical, plumbing, and mechanical systems.
• Strong safety awareness and adherence to procedures.

Responsibilities

• Assist the superintendent in maintaining property integrity and safety.
• Perform repairs and maintenance across plumbing, electrical, drywall, painting, appliances, and groundskeeping.
• Document work, inventory, and changes; respond to emergencies; coordinate with vendors and contractors.
