Job summary

The role requires hands-on skills in carpentry, plumbing, electrical work and basic HVAC, with experience using common hand and power tools. The worker must be safety-minded, able to document work, and available for on-call shifts as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required with solid maintenance experience.
• Knowledge of carpentry, electrical, plumbing and basic HVAC essential.
• Ability to operate hand and power tools safely and perform repairs.

Responsibilities

• Perform plumbing, electrical, drywall, painting, and appliance maintenance as needed.
• Inspect and maintain boilers, pumps and other mechanical systems.
• Respond to emergencies, on-call nights and weekends as required.
• Document work, purchases and maintenance activities accurately.
• Prioritize work to minimize vacancy loss and ensure resident satisfaction.
