Job summary

REMS is seeking a Property Maintenance Technician to support daily upkeep and repairs at multiple Wisconsin locations including Baraboo, Madison, Monona. The role covers painting, HVAC, plumbing, electrical tasks, and general maintenance, with on‑call nights/weekends and team collaboration.

Ideal candidates have hands-on maintenance experience, strong communication skills, and the ability to travel between properties with a valid driver’s license.

Qualifications

Experience in maintenance for rental properties or similar.
Ability to travel between properties with valid driver's license.
Strong communication and customer service skills.
Ability to work independently and in a team.
Flexible schedule including nights/weekends on-call rotation.

Responsibilities

Perform general building maintenance and repairs.
Paint, perform minor structural and roof repairs.
HVAC, electrical, plumbing, appliance installation/removal.
Grounds maintenance and snow removal.
Operate a truck to transport materials.
Communicate effectively with residents and coworkers.
