Job summary

REMS is seeking a Property Maintenance Technician to support daily upkeep and repairs at multiple Wisconsin locations including Baraboo, Madison, Monona. The role covers painting, HVAC, plumbing, electrical tasks, and general maintenance, with on‑call nights/weekends and team collaboration.

Ideal candidates have hands-on maintenance experience, strong communication skills, and the ability to travel between properties with a valid driver’s license.

The Property Maintenance Technician supports day-to-day upkeep and repair for our REMS and Secure Storage properties. We have full-time and part-time roles available at the location(s) listed above. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys hands‑on work and supporting a variety of property needs. Duties include:

• Performing general building maintenance, repairs and improvements such as painting, structural and minor roof repair
• Apartment turn-over, HVAC, minor electrical, plumbing, appliance installation/removal, and emergency maintenance
• Providing grounds maintenance, including but not limited to: landscaping, exterior building maintenance, and snow removal
• Maintaining streets and common areas of the property
• Safely operate a truck to transport materials
• Communicating effectively and professionally with all residents and coworkers while working in a team environment

Baraboo, Madison, Monona, WI.

• Valid driver's license and ability to travel between properties as needed

Both full‑time and part‑time opportunities across multiple locations. Overall flexibility in scheduling is based on meeting property and operational needs. Team members in this role participate in an on‑call rotation for nights and weekends, typically rotating every other week.
