Job summary

REMS is seeking a Property Technician to support day-to-day repair and upkeep of residential and condo properties in Wisconsin. The role offers both full-time and part-time opportunities at listed locations, with on-site work and travel between properties as needed.

The position involves conducting inspections, posting notices, managing access, providing minor maintenance, and serving as the on-site contact for residents, owners, vendors, and contractors.

Qualifications

• Well-rounded skill set to support inspections, property operations, and minor maintenance.
• Experience with rental properties, storage facilities, property management, maintenance, or similar is highly desired.
• Strong communication, customer service and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and with team members.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to travel between properties as needed.

What's the role?

The Property Technician supports day-to-day repair and upkeep of REMS residential and condo properties. We have both full-time and part-time positions available at the location(s) listed above. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys getting out of the office and being a reliable source for residents and vendors. Duties include:

• Conducting property and move-out inspections, renewal and final walkthroughs while documenting observations
• Posting notices, property communications, vendor instructions, and other required documentation
• Supporting property access needs through key management, lockbox coordination and access assistance
• Providing minor maintenance support and serving as the on-site resource for maintenance requests, emergencies and concerns

What's the schedule?

Both full-time and part-time opportunities may be available depending on business needs. Overall flexibility in scheduling is based on meeting property and operational needs. Team members in this role participate in an on-call rotation for nights and weekends, typically rotating every other week.
