Qualifications

• Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) with state license.
• BLS for Healthcare Providers must be obtained within 45 days.
• Completion of an accredited Practical Nursing program.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and room patient for exam; document vital signs and history.
• Perform lab procedures using aseptic technique and infection control.
• Assist physician with procedures and surgeries, including pelvic exams.
• Administer meds under orders; manage IV therapy within scope.
• Provide patient education and coordinate follow‑ups and referrals.
• Communicate with health team; document patient status accurately.
• Perform advanced skills under supervision (ECG, wound care, etc.).
• Maintain exam rooms, labs, and equipment; stock supplies.
• Ensure sterility and routine maintenance of instruments.
• Participate in patient‑centered initiatives and quality activities.
• Deliver age‑appropriate care across the life span per policies.
