Job summary

Atrium Health is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) for an outpatient clinic in Rock Hill. This full-time position supports a busy family medicine team with 40 hours per week, 8am–5pm, Monday–Friday.

You will obtain vital signs, assist with procedures, administer medications, and help coordinate patient care within the clinic’s guidelines. Requirements include an LPN license, BLS certification within 45 days, and completion of an accredited Practical Nursing program.

Qualifications

• Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license in the state where practice is located.
• BLS for Healthcare Providers certification issued by the American Heart Association must be obtained within 45 days unless not required by leadership.
• Completion of an accredited Practical Nursing program.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and room patients for exams; record vitals and health information.
• Perform common lab procedures using aseptic technique and infection control standards.
• Assist provider with procedures and surgeries including exams and testing.
• Administer medications under orders; manage IV therapy within scope.
• Provide patient education and coordinate tests, refills, and referrals.
• Document patient conditions accurately and communicate with the health care team.
