Job summary

Advocate Health's Shiland Family Medicine in Rock Hill is seeking an LPN for full-time support in a family medicine setting. The role includes patient prep, vitals, injections, lab work, and assisting physicians during procedures, with emphasis on accurate documentation and teamwork.

Qualifications

• Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license required.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification within 45 days.
• Completion of an accredited Practical Nursing program.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and room patient for exam; record vital signs and health data.
• Perform laboratory procedures using aseptic technique.
• Assist physicians with procedures and surgeries as needed.
• Administer medications under orders, including vaccines and IV therapy with limits.
• Educate patients on tasks, treatment and self-care; arrange referrals as needed.
• Communicate with care team; document patient status accurately.
