Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional experience in a law firm or similar environment.
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office and legal software (e.g., NetDocs, InTapp, Chrome River).
• Excellent organizational, communication, and proofreading skills.
• Ability to support multiple attorneys and manage shifting priorities.
• Understanding of legal terminology and processes (litigation experience strongly preferred).
• Professional, adaptable, and proactive mindset with a willingness to learn.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive administrative and legal support to attorneys across multiple practice areas.
• Prepare, edit, format, and compare legal documents, including pleadings, contracts, and correspondence.
• Manage court filings and assist with discovery processes.
• Support transactional matters, including closing documents and binders.
• Draft shells for pleadings and other legal filings.
• Coordinate client onboarding, conflicts checks, and billing setup.
• Enter and review attorney time entries and assist with billing compliance.
• Maintain and organize matter files, databases, and records.
• Coordinate travel arrangements and process expense reports.
• Manage competing priorities and workflows to meet deadlines.
