C&J Catering is seeking a Cook to assist the Sous Chefs with vegetable prep, meat cutting, sauces, and basic dishes for events and daily service.

You will maintain kitchen cleanliness, follow recipes, and uphold safety standards while working in a fast-paced environment and supporting a multi-cultural staff during busy events.

The role requires attention to detail, ability to stand long hours, and flexibility to work nights and weekends as needed.

Competenze

• Culinary experience preferred.
• Excellent knife skills preferred; ability to follow directions required.
• High school diploma preferred.
• Valid Driver’s License with a 5-year clean driving background.
• Complete written and oral knowledge of the English language required.

Mansioni

• Measure and prepare ingredients according to C&J recipes
• Participate in food preparation and portioning prior to service and at special events
• Ensure food quality and consistency by following designated company recipes
• Uphold safety and sanitation procedures throughout the kitchen
• Maintain personal hygiene and ensure food safety standards are met in all stages of food preparation
• Work in dish room, occasionally, on as needed basis
• Take out trash, mop floors and keep work and surrounding kitchen area clean
• Other duties as assigned
