Job summary

JDK in central PA is seeking a motivated kitchen professional to join our culinary event execution team. This role supports in-house prep and on-site event service, with preference for catering or restaurant cooking experience.

You’ll thrive in a fast-paced environment, uphold high culinary standards, and collaborate with a passionate team to deliver memorable experiences. Expect a flexible, nontraditional schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays, with 30–40 hours per week across prep

Qualifications

• Must have catering and/or restaurant cooking experience.
• Ability to stand for long periods.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Punctual and team-focused work ethic.

Responsibilities

• In-house prep days: wash, peel, chop, slice, and dice ingredients and prepare recipes.
• On event days: set up kitchen, finish cooking dishes, assemble hors d’oeuvres, plate dinners, and assist at stations.
• Break down and clean up kitchen areas after prep and events.
