Job summary

Highgate is hiring a Cook to prepare all food items across Restaurants, Room Service, Employee Cafeteria and Banquets, following standardized recipes and hotel standards.

The role requires culinary experience, ability to maintain strict cleanliness and sanitation, and the stamina to stand for long periods while managing multiple stations and special events. Training and growth opportunities are offered within a global hospitality group.

Qualifications

• Culinary experience required.
• Flexible and long hours sometimes required.
• Ability to stand during entire shift.
• Medium work - up to 50 lbs.
• Knowledge of hotel-standard recipes.

Responsibilities

• Maintain cleanliness and organization of all storage areas.
• Prepare and display buffet items according to hotel standards.
• Prepare food for Banquets and Employee Cafeteria as required.
• Follow all health regulations and safety standards.
• Support any position in the Kitchen as needed.
• Utilize standard production charts and recipes.
