Job summary

St. Coletta of Wisconsin is seeking a Substitute/Pool Direct Support Professional (DSP) in Jefferson, Waukesha, and Brookfield, WI. You will cross-train across areas, plan recreational activities, support daily living tasks, and assist adults with developmental disabilities in community integration.

No prior DSP experience is required; we provide paid classroom and on-the-job training. After completing the program, you will attain CBRF certification.

Qualifications

• Ability to read and comprehend documents; write reports and correspondence.
• Effective communication with customers, clients, and employees.
• Basic Microsoft Office skills for documentation and reporting.
• Willingness to complete required training and certifications.

Responsibilities

• Cross-train between DSP areas to be versatile.
• Plan and lead recreational activities and activities of daily living.
• Provide personal cares and support community integration for adults with developmental disabilities.
• Transport clients when needed and maintain accurate reports.
• Keep a clean, safe environment and handle challenging situations with sound judgment.
