Responsibilities

1. You’ll be crafting solutions to help the biggest names in business work quicker and smarter. In collaboration with senior IT and business executives, you’ll identify and develop end-to-end enterprise solutions to enable our customers to realize their goals. Supporting the capture of new business opportunities, architecting solutions, coordinating internal resources, and acting as a trusted business partner will be your charter. You’ll enable our customers to see what’s possible to make their businesses run better, faster, and smarter.
2. Understanding customer business challenges, goals, and environment.
3. Designing the right package of solutions and services to meet the customer need.
4. Writing proposals and supporting the contracting process—ensuring that all technical needs along with legal and compliance needs are all satisfied.
5. Incorporating internal and third-party suppliers as appropriate to meet the customer need.
6. Ensuring the feasibility of the proposed solution with the delivery and product teams.
7. Building and communicating the value proposition with client executives and key partners.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or four or more years of work experience.
• Six or more years of relevant experience required, demonstrated through work, military experience, or specialized training. Preferred qualifications include:
• Master’s degree in engineering, computer science, or other technical discipline.
• Experience designing IT and/or managing telecommunications solutions from concept to implementation.
• Proven experience proposing, selling, and implementing large-scale enterprise technology solutions, ideally with Fortune 500 clients or “big 5” consulting firms.
• Experience managing large, complex enterprise technology projects.
• Ability to build business cases with cost analysis and ROI.
• Experience in data/IP services, managed network services, security solutions, mobility solutions, data center outsourcing, call center technologies, or IT applications management.
• Experience selling, designing, or consulting on technical enterprise solutions.

Work Environment

This role is primarily field-based, with occasional in-person meetings and training at Verizon locations.

Additional Information

Scheduled weekly hours: 40.
