What you’ll be doing

This Telecom Account Services Supervisor role is a leadership position within the Regional Business Customer Care - Centralized Disconnect Group team. You will ensure Verizon provides an optimal customer experience across retail, enterprise, and government customers for Telecom products and services. Your responsibilities include:

  • Supervising a team to ensure customer requests and inquiries are processed accurately and timely.
  • Providing coaching, feedback, and training to associates; conducting performance reviews.
  • Ensuring team performance aligns with standards, fostering inclusion, innovation, and development.
  • Leading team meetings, encouraging collaboration, and resolving escalated issues.
  • Promoting an ethical, inclusive environment and partnering with union representatives and HR as needed.
Work environment

This is a remote role, primarily from your home office, with occasional in-person meetings and training. The position is located within the Brooklyn, NY metro area.

Qualifications
  • At least four years of leadership experience managing a team.
  • Experience in a fast-paced, customer-facing leadership role.
  • Ability to work outside normal hours, including weekends and holidays.
  • Must be within commuting distance to Brooklyn, NY.
Preferred qualifications
  • Six or more years of management or leadership experience.
  • Experience leading unionized teams and knowledge of labor relations.
  • Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Knowledge of Telecom products and proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
Additional information

Compensation ranges from $78,000 to $144,000 annually, depending on location and experience. This is an incentive-based position with potential for higher earnings.
