What you’ll be doing...

When you join Verizon Business Group’s Digital Media Center of Excellence, you will be responsible for helping to lead and assist paid search strategy, execution and optimization across all inventory types to achieve brand and business objectives. You will partner with our agency teams to ensure digital activations are enabled through the most effective path to deliver outcomes. With your expert knowledge of the tech landscape and the evolution of paid search, you will keep internal leadership educated on emerging technologies.

Responsibilities will include:

  • Assisting in developing and executing bold, innovative strategies for Verizon's approach to paid search.

  • Oversight of campaign planning and activation; ensuring holistic digital strategy meets standards and KPIs.

  • Partnering with Google, Bing, and any other platform partners relevant to Paid search, on driving their product roadmaps and expanding their capabilities into the broader marketplace.

  • Architecting and executing strategies to ensure greater personalization and performance across digital marketing campaigns and cross channel connections with other paid media.

  • Partnering closely with other media leaders (Brand, Business, Search, Organic Social, Analytics and our agencies) that support the execution and strategy.

  • Collaborating across partner units within Verizon (Operations, Experience, Technology, CRM) to create improved digital experiences across all touchpoints.

What we’re looking for...

You’ll need to have:

  • A Bachelor’s degree or four or more years of work experience.

  • Four or more years of relevant experience required, demonstrated through work experience and/or military experience.

  • Marketer/agency/consultative services experience in paid search media strategy and investment.

  • Certification in primary search platforms (e.g. Google certified).

  • Experience with hands on keyboard, building and executing paid search media buying strategy and daily campaign optimization to specific goals and KPIs.

  • Experience with analysis and reporting.

Even better if you have one or more of the following:

  • A degree.

  • Fluency in data-driven targeting and reach strategy.

  • Experience with primary paid search buying platforms & formats.

  • Knowledge of the evolution of paid search media.

  • Experience making recommendations regarding tech adoption, based on thorough awareness of the current and emerging paid search tech landscape.

  • Experience with the Prisma media buying platform.

  • Ability to maintain accurate financial records.

  • Ability to analyze data, optimize, and ensure campaign goals are being fully met.

In this hybrid role, you'll have a defined work location that includes work from home and a minimum eight assigned office days per month that will be set by your manager.

If you are hired into a California, Colorado, Connecticut, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, Nevada, New York, Rhode Island, Washington or Washington, D.C. work location, the compensation range for this position is between $91,500.00 and $159,000.00 annually based on a full-time schedule. The salary will vary depending on your location and confirmed job-related skills and experience. This is an incentive based position with the potential to earn more. For part time roles, your compensation will be adjusted to reflect your hours.
