Job summary

Tennessee Performing Arts Center is seeking a Security & Safety Manager to lead security operations across multiple TPAC venues and events. You will oversee staff, incident response, and coordination with departments to ensure safe, smooth performances.

The role requires 3–5 years in security with managerial experience, a TN unarmed security license, and the ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays. CPR/First Aid certification is preferred.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of security and crowd management experience, including managerial experience.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and some holidays.
• TN unarmed security license required.

Responsibilities

• Provides leadership of security operation for the security and safety supervisors, staff and their day‑to‑day functions.
• Oversees daily venue security and event security for TPAC venues.
• Responsible for emergency preparedness and response and incident handling.
• Supports department hiring, staff training, scheduling, and billing for internal security team and contractors.
• Investigates venue security and safety incidents and documents findings.
