Job summary

City of Amarillo, Civic Center Administration, seeks a Venue Sales Manager to direct the booking and marketing of the Civic Center Complex. You will curate live events, negotiate contracts, and lead revenue initiatives including internal advertising and partnerships.

Qualifications

• Minimum three years in managing sales; event sales or related live entertainment role preferred.
• At least two years in a supervisory position; CM or related certification preferred upon hire.
• Valid Texas Driver’s License required; Trained Crowd Manager certification upon hire preferred.

Responsibilities

• Direct and supervise Sales initiative, marketing staff, and customer service for lessees.
• Develop relationships with promoters, agents, talent managers to attract events.
• Negotiate contracts, research events, and generate revenue through ads and rentals.
