Job summary

Ryman Hospitality Properties is seeking an Venue IT Engineer to support IT operations across multiple venues. The role covers system, network, and end-user support, including service desk, desktop, server, information security, telephony, and business application support.

The ideal candidate will be analytical, detail-oriented and capable of supporting high-priority projects with strong technical knowledge, reporting to the Manager of IT Service Desk. Travel to venues will be required.

Qualifications

• Degree in Information Systems, Computer Science or related field.
• 1+ year of experience supporting point-of-sale systems (Micros Simphony preferred).
• 3+ years of network experience (Unifi preferred).
• Experience with food & beverage multi-location operations.

Responsibilities

• Manage maintenance of on-site networks and ensure QoS for business operations.
• Diagnose malfunctions in device software, hardware, and peripherals.
• Respond to on-site ticketing needs including box office and mobile devices.
• Provide upgrades, testing, and change control for POS systems (Micros Simphony).
• Author end-user guides and provide training to users with varying technical aptitudes.
• Test new versions of software and document issue frequency and escalations.
• Establish processes for accurate and timely completion of support tasks.
• Lead on-call helpdesk duties during peak times and support a rotating on-call schedule.
• Travel to venues as required for hardware/software implementations and support.
• Adhere to data integrity standards and perform other duties as assigned.
