Legends Global is seeking an Event Manager for The Oncenter in Syracuse, NY. You will oversee planning, organization, and management of events, coordinating client needs with venue operations to ensure success from start to finish.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree and at least two years of event-management experience in a multi-purpose facility, with strong organization, communication, and supervisory skills. On-site duties include supervising staff and ensuring top customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from four-year college or university.
• Minimum of two years management level experience coordinating events in a multi-purpose facility.

Responsibilities

• Assist Event Managers with on-site events.
• Meet and consult with client groups to plan and organize events.
• Coordinate activities with service contractors for events.
• Guide clients in preparation of events by explaining contract provisions.
• Monitor deadlines and floor plan submissions.
• Supervise and assign tasks to Event Staff.
• Communicate event details to internal and external contacts.
• Prepare cost estimates and monitor final billing.
• Serve as liaison between clients and facility departments.
