Job summary

Oak View Group (OVG) is seeking a personable Bartender for the Hilliard Center in Corpus Christi, TX. The hourly rate is $15.00 and the position is tip eligible. The role is part-time and requires availability for events.

You will follow bar pre-shift notes, serve beverages responsibly, and upsell to guests while maintaining a clean, compliant workstation. Flexibility for nights, weekends, and long hours is essential.

Qualifications

• Six months or more of bartending experience.
• Accurate cash handling skills required.
• Ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and long hours.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate ability to meet the company standard for excellence in guest service and uniform standards.
• Follow bar pre-shift notes and bar menus to provide described service.
• Serve alcoholic beverages following all state/federal regulations.
• Upsell products by knowledge of beers, wines, and spirits.
• Pour drinks responsibly, check IDs, and communicate cut-offs as required.
• Maintain a clean, sanitary workstation and restock as needed.
• Assist with setup/breakdown of bar equipment and organization of the cooler.
