Job summary

AdaptHealth is seeking a Respiratory Therapist – Ventilator Support to deliver specialized respiratory care to ventilator-dependent patients in home and alternate care settings across New Hampshire. This field clinician role combines direct patient care, education, and collaboration with physicians to ensure safe, high-quality outcomes outside the hospital.

Qualifications

• Associates degree from AMA-approved respiratory program.
• One (1) year of clinical experience with ventilator exposure.
• Current valid Respiratory Therapist license in states served by the branch.
• CPR certification.
• Valid and unrestricted driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and apply advanced knowledge of respiratory equipment and ventilators.
• Perform clinical assessments and reassessments; communicate findings to physicians.
• Support discharge planning for ventilator-dependent patients.
• Instruct patients and caregivers on ventilator use and equipment.
• Document patient care activities and outcomes per company standards.
• Collaborate with peers to optimize patient outcomes.
