Job summary

AdaptHealth is seeking a Respiratory Therapist – Ventilator Support to deliver advanced respiratory care in home settings and other alternate care environments. You will work with physicians and care teams to ensure safe, high-quality outcomes outside the hospital.

Responsibilities include ventilator management, patient education, and collaboration on discharge planning, with travel to patient homes as part of a dynamic field role. A strong clinical background and licensing are required.

Qualifications

• Associate degree from an AMA-approved respiratory program.
• One year of clinical experience with ventilator-exposed patients or as a respiratory therapist.
• Active Respiratory Therapist license in states served by the branch.

Responsibilities

• Provide specialized respiratory care to ventilator-dependent patients in home and alternate care settings.
• Educate patients and caregivers on ventilator use and maintenance.
• Document all patient care activities in company records.
