Job summary

Scarlet Oaks in Cincinnati, OH is seeking a compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Vent Unit team. This full-time role involves direct patient care for ventilator-dependent residents, collaboration with an interdisciplinary care team, and ongoing documentation to ensure quality outcomes.

The ideal candidate holds an Ohio RN license, at least 1 year in a vent unit, and current BLS/ACLS certifications.

Qualifications

Current RN license in the state of Ohio.
Vent unit experience of at least 1 year.
BLS and ACLS certifications.
Strong clinical and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

Provide direct patient care in ventilator-dependent unit, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of care plans.
Collaborate with interdisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
Monitor and manage ventilator settings, oxygen therapy, and other medical equipment.
Perform routine vital signs and obtain laboratory data as needed.
Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by the physician.
Document patient care and progress in accordance with facility policies and procedures.
Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members.
Participate in quality improvement initiatives to optimize patient outcomes and satisfaction.
