The ideal candidate holds an Ohio RN license, at least 1 year in a vent unit, and current BLS/ACLS certifications.

Qualifications

• Current RN license in the state of Ohio.
• Vent unit experience of at least 1 year.
• BLS and ACLS certifications.
• Strong clinical and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in ventilator-dependent unit, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of care plans.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
• Monitor and manage ventilator settings, oxygen therapy, and other medical equipment.
• Perform routine vital signs and obtain laboratory data as needed.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by the physician.
• Document patient care and progress in accordance with facility policies and procedures.
• Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives to optimize patient outcomes and satisfaction.
