Job summary

Mapleview Country Villa in Ohio is seeking a compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) to care for residents requiring ventilator and complex respiratory support in a fast-paced post-acute and long-term care setting. The ideal candidate holds an active Ohio RN license, BLS certification, and experience with ventilator management, tracheostomy care, or critical care.

• Supervise LPNs and CNAs as assigned.
• Maintain compliance with facility policies and regulations.
• Document accurately in the EMR.

Registered Nurse (RN) – Ventilator Unit

Mapleview Country Villa is seeking a compassionate and clinically skilled Registered Nurse (RN) to care for residents requiring ventilator and complex respiratory support. This role is ideal for nurses who thrive in a fast-paced environment and are passionate about delivering exceptional post-acute and long-term care.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to residents requiring ventilator, tracheostomy, and respiratory support.
• Assess, monitor, and document resident conditions and changes.
• Administer medications, treatments, and IV therapies as prescribed.
• Collaborate with physicians, respiratory therapists, and interdisciplinary team members to develop and implement care plans.
• Respond appropriately to respiratory emergencies and changes in resident status.
• Supervise LPNs and STNAs/CNAs as assigned.
• Maintain compliance with facility policies and state/federal regulations.
• Ensure accurate and timely documentation within the electronic medical record.

Qualifications

• Current Ohio Registered Nurse (RN) license.
• Ventilator, trach, or critical care experience preferred.
• Long-term care, skilled nursing, or step-down unit experience a plus.
• Current BLS certification.
• Strong clinical assessment and communication skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
