Job summary

ASH Hotels is seeking a Senior Sales Manager to own group revenue from day one, shape how the property presents in the market, attract clients, build relationships, and help define the destination the hotel becomes.

This role manages the full group sales cycle, collaborates with F&B, Operations, and Revenue Management, and represents the property at events and site tours. Experience in LA/SoCal and pre-opening teams is valued, with a proven book of business preferred.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years in hotel group sales; familiarity with the LA/SoCal market is useful.
• Opening experience on a pre-opening or ramp-up team is a differentiator.
• Track record of long-term client relationships and an existing book of business is welcome.

Responsibilities

• Build the property group sales foundation from the ground up including pipeline and revenue strategy.
• Establish pre-opening sales infrastructure, account templates, and market approach.
• Prospect and develop new business across Corporate, SMERF, Association, Nonprofit, and social segments.
• Deliver a personalized, consultative sales approach reflecting client needs.
• Represent the property as a brand ambassador at events and client meetings.
• Manage the full group sales cycle: lead generation, proposals, contract negotiation, BEO coordination, rebooking.
• Collaborate with F&B, Operations, and Revenue Management to ensure successful events.
• Hit revenue targets and contribute to forecasts with clear reporting.
