Job summary

The Facilities Group in Tampa, FL is hiring a Vendor Sourcing Specialist to manage end-to-end vendor intake and onboarding for TFG National. You will lead VRF, coordinate with Operations for market needs, and guide vendors through setup and onboarding processes.

Responsibilities include maintaining the Master Vendor List with Vendor Governance, managing mass vendor communications, and supporting new client rollouts while negotiating favorable terms and maintaining strong vendor relationships.

Qualifications

• Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
• Strong presentation skills.
• Janitorial operational knowledge or background preferred.
• Strong time management skills with the ability to meet tight deadlines.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to multitask and manage relationships with vendors.
• Proactive, self-motivated, and capable of taking the initiative.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Able to work independently or as part of a team to complete tasks.

Responsibilities

• Own intake, management, and action on the Vendor Request Form (VRF), ensuring vendor needs are addressed accurately and on time.
• Partner with Operations to identify markets and territories where additional vendor support is needed.
• Lead vendor outreach and onboarding, guiding new vendors through the setup process at TFG National.
• Follow up within 45 days to confirm that new vendors have been assigned work, escalating as needed.
• Work with Vendor Governance to ensure the Master Vendor List is accurate and kept up to date.
• Manage mass communications to vendors through the Vendor Relations distribution list.
• Serve as a resource for vendors, directing them to the appropriate departments within TFG National.
• Assist with vendor coverage and readiness in support of new client rollouts.
• Apply vendor negotiation skills to support favorable terms and vendor relationships.
