Qualifications

• High School diploma required; 1-3 years buying experience preferred.
• Strong written and verbal communication.
• Proficiency with MS Office, especially Word/Excel/Outlook.
• Experience in requesting corrective actions from suppliers is a plus.
• Ability to prioritize workload and work independently.

Responsibilities

• Analyze stock alert reports daily for assigned vendor products.
• Plan and schedule purchases based on discounts and stock levels.
• Negotiate deals for new orders and promotional pricing.
• Manage assigned vendors for price, delivery, and quality improvements.
• Resolve order and invoice discrepancies with vendors.
• Process product changes during version transitions.
• Manage vendor price changes and final buy decisions.
• Monitor insurance file for vendor coverage.
• Expedite outstanding orders to meet lead times.
• Perform general office duties as required.
• Evaluate return approvals on Overstock items.
• Maintain item and purchasing data in NAVision.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
