Qualifications

• Excellent written and verbal English communication.
• Computer literacy with MS Office (Word, Outlook, Excel, Access).
• At least 4 years as a Buyer or Sr Buyer in a fast-paced environment.
• Self-motivated and low-maintenance professional.
• Ability to prioritize and manage workload independently.
• Experience in requesting and administering corrective actions from suppliers.

Responsibilities

• Analyze stock alert reports daily for assigned vendor products.
• Plan and schedule buys based on discounts and stock levels.
• Manage SKU data in NAV including forecast and lead times.
• Negotiate deals for new orders and promotional pricing.
• Manage vendors for price, delivery, and quality improvements.
• Resolve order and invoice discrepancies with vendors.
• Process product changes and transitions between versions.
• Monitor vendor price changes and determine optimal buys.
• Audit insurance on vendors to ensure coverage.
• Handle DMRs and respond to supplier inquiries.
• Expedite outstanding orders to meet lead times.
• Perform general office duties as required.
• Evaluate and request returns on Overstock items.
• Maintain purchasing data in NAV for accuracy.
• Write SOPs and train department staff.
