Job summary

Carvana is hiring a Vendor Manager for its Inventory Procurement team in Tempe, AZ. You will own end-to-end vendor engagements, from onboarding to renewals, and lead sourcing events with Legal guidance to secure favorable terms.

This on-site role requires strong procurement and supplier management skills. You will drive performance with scorecards and spend analysis, aligning stakeholders across operations and finance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in finance/procurement at mid to large companies.
• At least 2 years in Procurement: Sourcing, and/or Procure-to-Pay.
• Experience with Coupa, ERPs, or e-procurement platforms.
• Strong written and verbal communication with stakeholders.
• Ability to work independently and in a team.
• Ability to manage multiple initiatives and tight deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Own the vendor lifecycle end-to-end for assigned supplier groups, including onboarding, contract compliance, performance reviews and renewals.
• Lead sourcing events (RFI/RFP/RFQ) and negotiate pricing, terms, and SLAs with Legal support.
• Implement vendor performance management with scorecards, reviews, and SLA tracking.
• Keep stakeholders aligned on deliverables, changes, and outcomes.
• Analyze vendor spend data with FP&A to reflect costs accurately in budgets.
• Help automate invoicing and standardize vendor processes for efficiency.
• Contribute to a collaborative, high-performance team culture.
