Job summary

Carvana is seeking a Vendor Manager for its Inventory Procurement team in Tempe, AZ. This on-site role focuses on end-to-end vendor engagements, including sourcing, contracting, and performance reviews with cross-functional partners.

You’ll drive price/term negotiations, ensure contract compliance, and lead efforts to optimize spend while maintaining strong stakeholder alignment. Up to 25% travel may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in finance/procurement at mid to large sized companies.
• 2+ years of experience in Procurement: Sourcing, and/or Procure-to-Pay.
• Experience with Coupa, ERP systems, or similar e-procurement platforms.
• Ability to communicate professionally with internal and external stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Own the vendor lifecycle end-to-end for your assigned supplier group, from onboarding through contract renewals.
• Design and conduct sourcing events (RFI/RFP/RFQ), lead negotiations on pricing, terms, and service levels.
• Run a vendor performance program using scorecards and SLAs, and drive issue resolution with stakeholders.
• Keep teams aligned on deliverables and changes, ensuring leadership stays informed.
• Analyze vendor spend data with FP&A to reflect costs and savings accurately.
