Job summary

Amazon.com Services LLC is seeking a Business Analyst II, Vendor Performance within Technology Operations & Partner Services (TOPS). You will build and own a single source of truth for vendor performance, spanning multiple POS, scales, depot, and services, extracting data from ServiceNow and other sources to enable proactive vendor accountability and cost visibility.

You will design data architectures, standardize quality, and develop predictive models that flag potential SLA breaches weeks

Qualifications

• 5+ years of Excel experience (including VBA, pivot tables, array functions, power pivots) and data visualization tools such as Tableau.
• Experience defining requirements and using data and metrics to draw business insights.
• Experience making business recommendations and influencing stakeholders.
• Experience with data visualization using Tableau, Quicksight, or similar tools.
• Experience working with ITSM platforms (ServiceNow preferred) and extracting/modeling ticket-level data.

Responsibilities

• Maintain automated data pipelines from ServiceNow to create a unified vendor performance data model across all vendors.
• Own the TOPS vendor performance data architecture — define what we measure, how we measure it, among established sources of truth.
• Establish data quality standards and validation mechanisms for vendor-reported metrics vs TOPS-measured actuals.
• Optimize TOPS Vendor Scorecard and support the scoring model across vendors.
• Develop predictive models to identify vendors trending toward SLA breach 2–4 weeks before store impact.
• Conduct root cause analysis on vendor performance deviations.
• Deliver monthly vendor performance narratives with actionable recommendations for QBRs and negotiations.
• Quantify the cost impact of vendor underperformance to support contract enforcement.
• Present vendor performance insights to Leadership in narrative form with clear business implications.
• Build self-service dashboards and automated reports to reduce manual reporting burden across TOPS.
